It's That Time, Already?

I can't believe that it has been over a month since my last post - that the kids started school! It just flew by. Well, Friday marks the end of the first six weeks at school - which just blows me away. Eliana's teacher says that she is really sweet, which we already know! She always gets smiley faces in her take home folder everyday, too. When we took her to school the other day, the special ed teacher there stopped Trevor and told him that we had such a sweet daughter. She said that she is always really nice to her kids everytime she sees any of them -some of which can't talk or even walk, so alot of kids just ignore them. She also has taken up for a girl at school when another girl was being mean to her and she has taken a little boy under her wing, who was always playing alone (he's really small and really shy). Yup, she's a sweetie.
Micah, is a sweetie too. I think he just chooses not to show it - but I know that somewhere in there is a sweet sweet boy! Although he doesn't always get smiley faces in his folder everday - he does get alot of them. He also gets marks ever so often, that he talks alot! No, not Micah :) Welcome to our world! It's not just at school that he talks alot. The boy seriously doesn't stop...EVER. I always thought that no one could talk as much as he does, but as time goes on, Eliana is getting pretty close. And Alyx - oh my. She is not even 2 and a half yet and already talks alot. The other two didn't talk as much when they were that young, so I can't even imagine... Anyway, back to Micah. He has gotten alot of really good grades this year. He brings home tons of papers and with the exception of three papers from last week- they have all been A's and B's. I'm so proud of him. And really, the occassional "talks too much" mark doesn't bother me all that much. I'm just happy and shocked that it's not everyday! He's friendly, what can I say?!
